Vienna Kaffeehaus was founded on December 19, 1983 in Cebu City and was the first to offer Viennese and Austrian dishes. It is considered as one of the famous and cozy coffee shops in the Province of Cebu. It is a good place to get together, to try out an ideas, discuss a projects and do some reading or get some thoughts on paper. Vienna Kaffeehaus in Cebu is an Austrian-inspired restaurant with a European twist, bringing a ball of Viennese delights including traditional cuisine and mouth-watering coffees. It retains its European ambiance and delectable dishes made of the finest and freshly picked ingredients.
Their in-house specialties include Backhendl, Kranier, Gulasch, Chicken Cordon Bleu, Tangigue Steak, Butterfly Steak and scrumptious pastries. The Chicken Cordon Blue and Fish Fries are battered, deep fried and serve with a side of julienne potatoes. A gorgeous serving of Ox Tounge serve with creamy white sauce fettuccine and the famous Neptune Plate with calamari, battered shrimp, fish fillet and serve with rich tartar sauce.
They introduced their new and top selling Baby Back Ribs
( P 185), freshly baked and coated with secret recipe of fruity barbeque sauce, paired with Red Wine. For a light start they have Neptune Platte, Fitness Platte and Gulaschuppe are some delectable appetizers. They also offer rice meals such as Mixed Veggie Curry, Pork Tenderloin, and Gebackener Leberkaese.
Being a a famous coffee shop, their brewed coffee is an original in house blend and its ingredients are imported from other country like Austria. It offers Austrian gourmet coffee in 11 brewed varieties such as the Espresso, Mocca, Cappuccino, Malange, Decaf, Irish coffee, Filter, Milk Flavoured Coffee, Original Vienna Eiscoffee and Cafeccino. One of their top selling coffee is the Kaffee Schwarzenber- an espresso with hot chocolate with loads of whipped cream and topped with chocolate chips. They also offer coffee drinks with a new line of frappes which are tiramisu, caramel, amaretto, macademia, hazelnut and irish cream.
