This is the ancestral house of an old Governor of Bohol dating back to the American
period which was turned into a Museum and Restaurant. It is a Filipino-Spanish typical
house made of coral stone, wooden post, walls and floor. Wooden tables, Rocking chairs,
antique lamps and jars, old paintings can be seen in this place also.
CaféOlegario is known to offer their best specialty and menus. They serve the best
dishes like Ginataang Alimango, Laeng, Chicken or Pork Adobo, Menudo, Pinakbet, Mechado,
Dinuguan with puto and many more .
This Restaurant also serves their own Boholenos fresh and native delicacies like
Puto Maya, Suman, Budbod, Biko, Puto and Sapin sapin. The native delicacies are freshly
baked and cooked with the right amount of sugar and coconut milk. The latik is also
cook well but not too sweet. All the dishes are very affordable and tasty. For beverages
they serve the best native hot chocolate, brewed coffee or tea and other cold drinks.
Café Olegario also caters for different events like conferences, Débuts, Anniversaries,
Weddings and other business functions.
CaféOlegario is about 20 minutes drive from Tagbilaran City Airport. It is located
along the town of Loay and can be reached by any public transportation.
