The Burgos Museum or Fr. Burgos Museum is one of the famous and most visited place
is Vigan. It is the ancestral house and the birth place of the martyr-priest Fr.
Padre Jose Burgos. It is one of the notable historic structures that has maintained
its 19th century interior and its well preserved Kitchen. The Museum is also declared
as a Satellite Museum of the Nation Museum.
Burgos Museum is a two storey structure located beside the Provincial Jail, Provincial
Capitol and close to St. Paul’s Cathedral. The Museum contains the memorabilia of
the martyr priest Jose Burgos, photographs, family antiques, jewelleries, farming
and fishing materials, printing press, coffins, replica of Japanese and Spanish war
Padre Burgos quarters and mini library containing Noli Me Tangere are also showcased
in the museum.
